Letter Of The Month

Dear March,

Either you were meant to be harsh on me or not, I'm still grateful that you came. You did me good despite all the workloads and the sudden pile up of responsibilities. I may questioned it at first, asking silly, unnecessary questions, but that would always be me. I talk to myself - too much, I guess. But instead,I learn in answering back better than just giving in that easily -- well,as far I'm concern, I'm satisfied with the answers. Hee.

Thank you for making me realised that too much of great things can actually make me sick. I know I was slacking, being complacent and taking things for granted these couple of months. Some incidents did knocked some senses in my head, which can be easily be an excuse to burst into tears. Fortunately my eye bud just don't see eye to eye with the heart.

Tidak,tidak. Along bukan putus kasih, putus kawan, nauzubillah. March is a wake up call for me on everything, on life. But no matter what, I was never in whatever this is -- alone. Ever. And praise God for that!

Home is always there, with widespread arms. True friends stayed trough till the end,laughing at jokes that others won't understand. Yes, I am lucky, truly am. If only they all knew how I fought with time just for them. But hey, anything that is worth fighting is worth the fight, right? :')

Anyways, yes dear March, thank you. As Nayaa tweeted the other day -- Count your blessings, before questioning others of what they don't have.

I'm sorry that I called you Harsh March, but it just sound catchy that way, don't you think so?
Deep down, you are somehow my smash(ing) harsh march :')

I'd faced you, and I shall face you and the others with a smile (in this case - laugh), rain or shine.

The Shawl

Something I discovered over the weekend during my once every three months room cleaning (don't ask!) is the shawl collections I never knew I had.


It may not be an impressive collection like others, but to think how I first started donning the long shawl without anyone teaching me how to, I am quite impressed with myself (well,allow me to do so).

These days, online tutorial on how to wear one - be it in visual or graphical, semuanya bersepah. Google saja, konfem jumpa. Tapi takde la dalam blog Along so maaflah buat yang google cari and it directed to this blog. Memang tak nak buat for I despised seeing myself talking to a recording gadget on my own hehe. But yeah, the online tutos are very helpful and with easy to follow steps.

My sis, Jennyto just got the shawlbug in her and eventho she grumbles a little on how come she can't do it (the lilit-lilit) as well as mine, she wore it her own way. And it suits her, despite I think she's a bit messy, but when you are confident with it, people will eventually accepted it.

I accepted who she is -- no matter what, hihi.

Anyways, for those you first timers wearing shawl, just remember to be yourself. People tend to forget how we have different shapes of faces, so find a style that suits you. And tapaya la mengamuk bila lilitlilit tu tak jadi macam Yuna, seriously tak perlu. -_-"

Apart from bentuk muka, the material of the shawl you wear is important too. Mana kain yang senang bentuk, senanglah. Don't expect the chiffon to be as easy as viscose cotton, begitulah.

Pastu the style of wearing a shawl can be many ways, depending on the length of the shawl. Just be brave (and bold) when wearing it, people won't notice senarnye kamu lilit tahpape pun. Silap haribulan ada yang tanya camna nak pakai like yours ;)

I have my own bad shawl days but that is what made me a better shawl wearer, I guess :)
With different kind of shawls, there would be different experience on how you wear it thus there would be different views on what people say about it.

I still have to master wearing the Tie Rack oblong shawls -- coz it's length is way shorter than the usual ones but I just can't ignore their patterns, semua cantik-cantik! And I'm looking into the colorful inner syria to come up with new ways of wearing shawls. And and scarves from Cotton On as Naja & WRD wears these days. See, so much to do with just shawls!

Why all the sudden I ramble about shawls?

See how it relates to our life.

You don't give up on your first attempt learning on how to wear the shawl if you determined to wear it. I don't get it when you complained much but you are not even trying. Some were born to wear shawls, while others learn and there are those who are prettier to wear other hijab styles :')

You put safety bobby pins here and there if the 'lilit' keep coming off, you learn to be careful, you know what material needs security (pins and brooches) and which are not -- so you learn from experiences.

You learn to beautify things while learning from others, you do things that make you happy and be happy for others who make it more beautiful, more happier for you. You never how that little gesture could make someone's day, and even yours!

I may not have the coolest shawl style neither I am the prettiest shawl wearer but I am happy with the way I am with what I wear -- so far :')

p/s - And oh, nak cakap thanks juga to those who gave me shawls as gifts, you are my lil' supporters in so many ways ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Endless Us

Hai senangnya lah dapat adik adik yang menurut perintah bila mahu bergambar secara pukal dalam kereta di parking lot pasaraya Giant.


Eh senarnya tapaya disuruh.

Adik adik mesti cakap;

"along amik la lagi amik la lagi gambar kita camne along amek boleh muat semua ha yang ini kita nak masuk fesbuk jadi profile peach kita eh along eh."

Muka Jangan Main Aaaa!

I gotta stop posting backdated events, it's kinda unhealthy, don't you think so? Orang lain dah update pasal tu berkurun lama, Along tetaaaaaaaaap simpan seperti tiada perasaan of what just happened, hehe.

Truth is I was actually memulihkan my perasaan all this while.
Cam tengah terima kenyataan gitu, tengah pasrah dan akhirnya redho.

And pastinya sangat overwhelmed at the same time :')

So imagine all that feelings campur-campur in one night and you expect me to blog about it the next minute?

Remember how I bragged about this?

My Farell had a high fever and I understood that he needs his mommy more than me *pasrah* so AJ came along to temankan me, eventho AJ was so clueless of what will happened.

So Farah, this entry goes out for you too :')

My excitement to watch Redza for the second time (this time tiada pemisah skrin,woot!) bertukar menjadi nervousity (some term I came up sebab nervous sangat haha) when I saw Dalie & her hubby together with a few friends sitting in one corner, gaya nak hentak orang sebab I was a bit late.

Oke tipu.
Derang tak makan orang. Derang soh makan Maggi in Cup saja.

Her dinner for that night.
Nekad nak kurus abes kekdahnya :P

We were the last to enter the hall memandangkan tiket kat orang lain, to be specific it was with Redza's fiancee.

Dia berlari dengan comel sekali, maka tak jadi marah.

Eh berani ke marah, dia comel sangat kot so marah diri sendiri je ah -_-"

Pastu ternampak Kak Nana & her famous hubby *bekas juri Sehati Berdansa sila cari sendiri*, sangat rindu rindu Kak Nana!

So the 75 minutes show went unnoticed sebab best kot! At first memula cam dunno what to expect -- I refuse to read the synopsis (eceh walhal datang dah niat nak tengok Redza je) but I noticed it did warned the play was for matured viewers je.

But tak sangka ada scenes yang kinky kinky abes!
AJ tak habes habes beristighfar haha comel.

I can't forget Brit (Sharon Lam), makcik motivasi yang annoying tapi lawak! She's Redza partner in that play and both of them are supposedly to be this pair yang sangat positive minded abes lah kiranya.

Turns out they were the mastermind yang kejam!

Part Redza menjerit "Muka jangan main aaaaaaa!" after his face got smeared with some cream tu serious unforgettable.

Or the part where he & Brit meditates together and says "Mimomimomimomimo" in unison, facing each other,dahi bertemu dahi, pegang tangan haish, me wants too!

There were other memorable scenes too, maafkan Along tak dapat nak elaborate semua!

So kudos to Megat Sharizal who managed to capture the spirit of competitiveness in a comical way -- truly an eye opener as most of the scenes do happen in real life.

Dah habis show, sesi beramah mesra!

Memasing menunggu yang seorang itu, haha.

But it didn't matter that much actually. Along kan drama je lebih, tapi sangat memahami. (Senarnya sangat sedar diri, haha)

It may seemed that we were there mainly for Redza, but who cares. I had fun meeting new faces as well spending time with AJ, hehe.

Bliss In Sequence

I had a superbly wonderful time at Wani's reception, at times I thought it was my own event -- except the part sitting on the dais lah, haha. Her family & relatives really made me at home, despite I have not seen them for awhile, sangat-sangatlah rasa happy. The friends who came, even though it was a few than the expected, I'm glad they made it for Wani -- I thank you guys on her behalf.

I've so much to share, and I must must share, so that Wani would knew how proud & happy I was to be part of her big day :')

And owh, I've got to do this in point forms -- there are so many pictures to share & tell!!

Pic #1 : Pengantin sempoi suggested us to have a drive thru breakfast, but turns out everyone in Wangsa Maju chose that particular morning to redeem free burgers and coffees. I had to order from the counter in the end, kalau tunggu konfem lewat Wani sampai dewan -_-"

Pic #2 : Zek's expression says it all! Wani ate half of her Big Breakfast, so I had to finished hers. When actually, my long awaited egg McMuffin diambil orang. Takpe, I like that orang dalam diam, maka I redha. Haha!

Pic #3 : Fuzuri Design was the official photog for the day! Dipendekkan cerita yang panjang, FD is our friend back in uni years, so basically takdo la sogan bonar den nak mintak dio amekkan gambar haha!

Pic #4 : The dais. The picture didn't do any justice -- pelamin tu sangat cantik! The flower arrangements macam ice cream dari jauh. Sangat menjemput semut sebab ia kelihatan manis sekali!

Pic #5 : Hmmm, I told you the flower arrangements looked like vanila strawberry ice creams, kan? GOSH SAPE YANG BLOCKING VIEW NI KETEPI LA WEH DIRI TENGAH JALAN PLAK TUH -_-"

Pic #6 : I loooooooooved Wani's idea of her guestbook even though I was skeptical at first. Ye la, cam sayang je nak sign-sign kat gambar tu TAPI HU TENGOKLAH SAPE YANG SEMANGAT GI SIGN DULU -_-"

Lastly, the lovebirds and I.


Wani once voiced out the fears of things would not be the same after getting married, and I can't assure her how things will stay the same for all of us for I've seen things before and I would understand completely, of course I do.

But how I wish she realised that no matter how things changed around us, she has now someone (permanently) to take care of her. If not us friends, there's Anuar -- her loyal wedded husband :')

Forgive me if I still pikir kalian masih couple couple gitu haha.

Jauh atau dekat, selalu atau jarang, I'm here.
